CARL FORSTER is not the only one who has been full of praise for his North Wales Crusaders’ pack.

It’s also the topic of conversation from opposition coaches following their League One matches with the Crusaders this season.

Head coach Forster told CruCast: “It’s a huge compliment to our pack.

“I think every single coach I speak to after the game, they’ve got huge admiration for our pack and how they play.

“They’re not just battering rams that are just going to carry the ball. They’ve got a short passing game, they can play out of the back, they can run the ball and it’s just those combinations, they do take time.

“Obviously, Ben Evans (pictured above) had a little injury... missed a few games. Obviously, Baz (Chris Barratt) is ever-present and Cozzy (Shaun Costello) comes off the bench and has that short passing game.

“We’ve got lads who can run the ball better than others and I think we’ve just got that real good combination for everything in the pack at the minute.”

Forster will be looking for more of the same from the pack when they play host to Midlands Hurricanes in a crucial encounter on Sunday.
