NORTH WALES CRUSADERS are halfway to their target during what is a crucial spell of the League One season.

Head coach Carl Forster has targeted a run of four wins in a vital four-game spell.

Victories have arrived against Workington Town and Newcastle Thunder, with Sunday’s trip to Cornwall then being followed by a home clash with Midlands Hurricanes on July 7.

Forster (pictured above) told CruCast: “We want to win the four games. I feel we need to win the four games, so it’s just week-on-week, tick it off, get the two points, get out of there and I think, obviously, you’ve got to create your own luck.

“But we did that against Workington. We did a real professional job against Newcastle and it will be same again this weekend.

“Go down, travel early on Saturday to get ready for Cornwall and it’s a new week, new job and we’ve got to go for that two points again and hopefully get it and move on to Midlands.”

Sunday’s match will begin at the earlier time of 1pm and North Wales will be hoping to emulate the 40-16 win away to Cornwall that opened the season.
