THOMAS WILLIAMS has been in record-breaking form once more.
The Wrexham AAC member produced a personal best of 77.31 metres to win the U17 men’s hammer at the Tailteann schools inter-provincial championships in Dublin.
This was an Irish U18 men’s and championship record.
Meanwhile, there have been a few lofty finishes for clubmate Connor Rogers.
He won the Park Hall 10k at Oswestry in a time of 15.27.
Other impressive efforts came from Ryan Davis (fourth in 15.51), James Roberts (seventh in 16.42), Gareth Chaloner (24th in 18.58), David Millington (46th in 21.17), Amanda Bailey (50th in 21.40) and Gwyn Roberts (54th in 21.50).
Rogers (16.40) crossed the line as runner-up in the Hereford parkrun.
The top-three at the Alyn Waters junior parkrun all achieved personal bests.
Winner Evie Hughes clocked 7.55, with Grace Hughes second in 8.14 and George Hughes third in 8.23.
Wrexham competitors at the Moel y Gamelin fell race were Ally Hughes (fourth in 1-24.56) and Robert Miles (sixth in 1-35.17).
