BOOKMAKERS believe Wrexham will be in contention for the League One title next season.

Phil Parkinson's men are currently 11/1 with Sky Bet to finish top of the table which would secure an unprecedented third promotion in a row.

Even though the Reds are tipped to be fighting it out for top spot in 2024-25, they are fifth on the list with Birmingham the clear favourites.

Relegated from the Championship last term, The Blues are 3/1 to finish as champions and bounce back immediately.

Huddersfield (8/1) and Rotherham (9/1) - who came down with Birmingham from the second tier - are also expected to be in the running along with Bolton Wanderers (9/1), beaten 2-0 in the play-off final by Oxford United at Wembley last month.

Peterborough United (14/1), managed by former Wrexham captain Darren Ferguson, and Barnsley (16/1) - the two teams defeated in the play-off semi-finals in 2023-24 - are next on the list along with Reading (16/1).

Blackpool, Stockport, promoted as League Two champions last season ahead of runners-up Wrexham, Wigan, Wycombe and Lincoln are all 20/1.

Crawley Town, who came up after winning the League Two play-off final, are the rank outsiders at 150/1.

Title odds: Birmingham 3/1; Huddersfield 8/1; Bolton 9/1; Rotherham 9/1; Wrexham 11/1; Peterborough 12/1; Barnsley 14/1; Charlton 16/1; Reading 16/1; Blackpool 20/1; Stockport 20/1; Wigan 20/1; Wycombe 20/1; Lincoln 20/1; Mansfield 33/1; Leyton Orient 40/1; Bristol Rovers 40/1; Stevenage 40/1; Exeter 50/1; Northampton 66/1; Cambridge 66/1; Burton 66/1; Shrewsbury 66/1; Crawley 150/1.
