CHESTER have bolstered their ranks with the signing of keeper Cameron Mason, the club’s third new addition this summer.
The 28-year-old arrives on an initial one-year contract and last season, he played 35 times for Curzon Ashton as they reached the National League North play-offs for the first time.
Chester manager Calum McIntyre told the club’s website: “I’m really pleased we’ve been able to secure Cam as our goalkeeper for the season ahead.
“We were really clear on what we wanted as we look to increase the age and experience of the group and Cam comes to us with real experience of the league and highly regarded as among the best goalkeepers in the division.
“There is a reason so many clubs wanted his signature this summer, but Cam was really clear that he wants to be part of what we are going to do this season. We are close to some other pieces of business as we build towards the start of pre-season.”
