MATT REID says North Wales Crusaders will carry on improving as the season continues.
Reid made a welcome return from injury by scoring the opening try in Sunday’s 30-10 loss to Keighley Cougars and he will be in line for another appearance when Crusaders head to Midlands Hurricanes for a big League One clash this Sunday.
Reid told CruCast: “We’re just not clinical enough, I think, when we get near the other team’s line at the moment and I think probably just a little bit clunky.
“We’ve still got new combinations in place and things like that.
“So, it’ll come in time, the more time we play together, the more time we have together on the training field.
“I know... we’re nearly 10 games into the season, but it does take time for them combinations to come.
“So, hopefully, like with last season, as we go through the season, it’ll start to click as we get nearer the business end.”
North Wales Crusaders currently find themselves in seventh place in the League One rankings, although they have played fewer matches than the majority of the sides above them.
