MORE than league points will be on offer for Northop Hall tomorrow.
North Wales bragging rights will be up for grabs as Hall have home advantage over Prestatyn in Division Two of the Liverpool Competition.
“It will be a competitive game. I know they’ve got their pro over now,” said Northop Hall skipper Ben Slater.
“I think it will be an interesting one.”
Hall go into the match following a narrow loss to Caldy, when they were dismissed for 122.
“I would probably say we were about 20 runs short,” added Slater.
“It was just the batting that let us down. I think it’s one of those, we’ll have a play around with the order.
“Last week, the outfield was very slow and 25 was probably worth around 50.”
Matty Jones will come into the Hall line-up.
Hall Seconds will head to Sutton (St Helens) Seconds while Chirk will be looking to build on their first Shropshire League win of the season when they have further home comforts tomorrow.
Luke Gardner’s side, who saw off Worfield Seconds by two wickets last weekend, continue their Division One programme against Cound.
In Division Seven, unbeaten Chirk Seconds go to Ellesmere Seconds.
