THE Rangers from Cefn Mawr, Aston Park and Hawarden are enjoying amazing seasons with all eyeing up trebles after celebrating success at the North East Wales FA’s Finals Weekend in Ruthin.
Cefn Mawr Rangers lifted the U12s Cup with a 5-1 win against Gresford Athletic.
Evan Evans, Benjamin De Almeida, Shae Flitcroft, Shae Maxfield and Daniel Abraham got the goals for Cefn, who are on course for the treble having won the Wrexham League title.
Lennon Young was Aston’s match-winner in the U15s final as he scored twice in a 3-2 victory over FC Borras Park Albion.
Kian Edwards also scored with Alby Jones and Cody Hughes making a real game of it.
Hawarden triumphed 5-1 against Gresford Athletic in the U16s Cup - the first of eight junior finals at Memorial Playing Fields.
Riley Taylor gave Hawarden the perfect start scoring in the second minute. Lewis Cooke, Williams Hodgson, Jack Ricketts and Callum Cartwright also netted with Oliver Tomkinson replying.
Rhos Aelwyd, Caerwys and Borras Park Albion Blues should also all take a bow after lifting silverware.
Double-chasing Caerwys secured part one of what they hope will be a trophy-laden finish to the season.
The Flintshire Youth League leaders eased to a 7-2 win over Ewloe Harriers in the U19s Cup final.
The Jones boys - Alex and Caleb - bagged doubles as did substitute Tomas Fenton, who also missed a penalty. James Davies also scored with Luca Williams-Eaton and Harry Lloyd-Williams replying.
Rhos shared out the goals in their U14s 4-2 victory over Coedpoeth United for whom Luke Plant scored both. But Jack Evans, Logan Hanmer, Kayden Evans and Ollie Jones won it for Rhos.
Borras Park Albion’s Blues were also celebrating as Logan Hay (2), William Lewis-Jones, Jacob Mawson-Rogers and Finley Colclough scored in a 5-2 U13s final victory against Greenfield, whose scorers were Evan Stooke and Dexter McGilloway.
