THE good news just keeps on coming for Flint Town United!
Following on from their promotion-winning campaign, the Silkmen claimed both of the April awards that were up for grabs in Cymru North.
Lee Fowler (pictured right) scooped the manager of the month accolade after leading his side to five consecutive wins in April.
This helped Flint to finish second in the table behind champions Holywell Town and gain promotion back to the Cymru Premier League at the first time of asking.
Meanwhile, Sol Forde claimed the player of the month accolade, after he netted five goals and contributed to three clean sheets.
More good news could follow for Forde, who is short-listed for the Cymru North young player of the season award. He is up against teammate Luis Lacey and Denbigh’s Josh Lock.
Flint’s Elliott Reeves - the league’s top scorer with 30 goals - has been nominated in a player of the season category which is dominated by Flintshire figures. Also short-listed are Holywell’s Jake Cooke and Mold Alex’s Danny Warren.
However, Fowler hasn’t been nominated for the manager of the season prize and neither has Mark Allen, the boss of third-placed Airbus.
Holywell’s Johnny Haseldin has been short-listed following his side’s title-winning campaign and he is up against Llandudno’s Jordan Hadaway and Mike Johnston, of Bangor 1876.
