AWAY days haven’t bothered Northop Hall U12s in North East Wales Girls’ League action.
The in-form Hall side gained an 8-1 win over Buckley Town in the U13s’ division, with Lola Bird (2), Daisy Pickford (2), Amelia Boulton (2), Macey Skane and Isabelle Jones sharing the goals. Anna Fogerty replied for Buckley.
This success came a few days after Hall got the better of determined hosts Mynydd Isa 9-0, with Boulton (3), Pickford (2), Brooke Hughes (2), Bird and Jones on target.
Turning to the U15s’ section and the theme of away victories continued.
Juliet Collis claimed a four-goal haul in Northop Hall Jets U14s’ double-figure success over battling Brymbo Lodge. Lily Manchester (3), Hayley-Jo Vel, Lily Davies, Ruby Lovell and Beth Albiston added the others.
Faye Hand (3), Niamh Makin, Olivia England and Mollie Edge made sure of Airbus U14s’ 6-0 outcome at Northop Hall and it finished up 6-2 in favour of Buckley Town versus Acton U14s.
Lexi Weaver struck twice for Acton, with Scarlett Foster-Noble (3), Ava Roberts and Izobel Hickey sealing the deal for Buckley.
In midweek action, Buckley U14s gained victories over Buckley U15s and Northop Hall Falcons U14s. Lexi Jones (4), Georgia Payne (2), Bethan Higgins (2), Evie Hughes, Darra Craig and Summer Dakin shared their goals.
Casey Armstrong (2), Maisie Sutcliffe and Chloe Ridley ensured Acton U14s got the better of Northop Hall 4-0, while Northop Hall Jets U14s were soaring with their 7-2 triumph over Broughton United.
Lily Manchester (2), Lily Davies (2), Juliet Collis (2) and Hayley-Jo Vel struck for the visitors, with Olivia Bateman on target twice for Broughton.
