There were some thrillers in the Wrexham U14s League with FC Gresford Athletic leading the way with a 6-5 success at Borras Park Rangers.
Owen Burke hit a hat-trick for Gresford’s other side but doubles from Jacob Brooke, Lewis Capper and Charlie Messham secured a 9-5 win for Coedpoeth United Celts, whose other scorers were Harley Jones, Luke Plant and Jaydn Harding.
Rhys Clarke and Beau Williams both bagged five goals apiece in Chirk’s big win over FC Queen’s Park while Llangollen drew 2-2 with Coedpoeth United Falcons, whose scorers were Oliver Whitley and Vincent Wood.
Rhos Aelwyd were 7-3 victors at Borras Park Albion while Cai Roberts scored and set up the winner as Brickfield Rangers triumphed 4-3 at Llay United. Finley Duckett’s treble helped seal a 5-1 win for Brymbo over FC Borras Park Albion. Goalkeeper Ethan Williams also scored along with David Pettigrew.
In the U13s League, Logan Hay fired home four goals as leaders Borras Park Albion Blues won 6-0 at Borras Park Rangers. Finley Colclough and William Lewis-Jones also scored.
Hope Dragons floored FC Queen’s Park 6-1 while Owen Fellowes’ five-goal return was the highlight of Penycae’s 6-2 victory against Ruthin Town. Rocco Evans also netted.
Bala beat FC Llay United 2-0 while Llay’s other team played out a 4-4 thriller with Borras Park Rangers.
Gresford Athletic edged out Llangollen 4-3 while Cefn United went down 2-1 at Ruthin Town Blues.
In the U12s League, Luca Roberts and Louie Cashmore helped Chirk win 2-1 at Coedpoeth United Falcons.
Brymbo were 5-0 winners against FC Llay United.
In the U15s League, FC Borras Park Albion beat their club-mates 6-1 and that’s it finished at Coedpoeth United where visitors Brickfield Rangers triumphed.
CJ Richardson hit a hat-trick for Rangers as did Armani Borri in Chirk’s big win over Penycae. Dylan Arias (2), Tom Hayward (2), Mason Williams, Gwilym Jones, Leighton Jacobs and Cameron McKay also netted.
Ethan Cooke’s double and one from Jayden Baker earned Borras Park Rangers a 3-2 win at Rhos Aelwyd for whom Kacper Bury bagged both.
Cefn Albion drew 1-1 with Ruthin Town while Marchwiel Villa followed up Friday’s 5-2 defeat at Llay United with a 5-5 thriller at Brymbo Lodge.
