MARK HOWARD says Wrexham's "humble" Hollywood owners are only a telephone call away if any of the players need anything and are a "pleasure to work with".
Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney completed their takeover at The Racecourse in February 2021 and the Reds have become a global sensation as a result of the hit documentary series Welcome to Wrexham which chronicles the actors' purchase and stewardship of the club.
There has been success on the pitch as well with goalkeeper Howard playing his part in helping Phil Parkinson's side reach League One after securing back-to-back promotions for the first time in the club's history.
Although Reynolds and McElhenney are fully supportive, Howard says the co-chairman have let Parkinson, his staff and players get on with the job in hand and know how to get the best out of people.
"It shows the type of people they are," said Howard. "They haven’t been out there throwing silly comments around or in the faces of people. They have shown nothing but respect.
"They are humble people. They have taken the pressure off the players with the way they have conducted themselves. They are a pleasure to work with and so are the staff they have brought in.
"All hard working and humble people behind the scenes to make sure the players aren’t exposed to things outside of playing football. The popularity and growth is huge and we can see that but they have ensured we have all taken it in our stride.
"If you need a call or a text, they will answer. They just get it. They know how to get the best out of people by being good people themselves.
"The owners have full faith in the manager to do a good job. If they are at a game they will come down and say hello and that’s as much as we see from then.
"There’s no interference or given speeches before games. They let us all get on with it and that’s the right way clearly given the success we have had.
"They know how to play it really well and all the players would say the same. They let us do our job. They have come down after games and given talks about how proud they are of us which is nice to hear. But they do it at the right time."
