THERE’S no doubt about where the top game in the North East Wales League will be tomorrow.

It’s on the North Wales coast at Gronant where Championship title-rivals FC Plas Madoc are the visitors.

Madoc moved three points clear at the top after Wednesday’s 4-2 home win over Sychdyn.

Top scorers James Williams and Nicky Williams netted again along with Ryan Jakovlevs and Josh Rush. Tom Mitchell and Kieran Jones hit back for Sychdyn.

Rhydymwyn, Overton Recreational and Yr Wyddgrug continue their battle to finish fourth.

Yr Wyddgrug won 3-1 at Rhydymwyn on Tuesday night with Henry Jones (2) and David Jones getting the goals as Liam Simon replied.

Rhydymwyn and Overton are on the road at Brymbo and Johnstown respectively while Yr Wyddgrug host Holywell United.

Johnstown were 3-2 winners at Brymbo in midweek thanks to goals from Dewi Reeves (2) and Keneth Davies. Josh Price and Rob Cooper hit back for Brymbo.

Unbeaten Premier Division leaders Corwen continue their title push at Coedpoeth United tomorrow.

Coedpoeth warmed up with a 2-0 midweek win at Connah’s Quay Town where Adam Lloyd scored both.

Third-placed Rhostyllen, who are 10 points off top spot, head to Castell Alun while Connah’s Quay Town go to Ruabon Rovers.

Penyffordd Lions got the better of Mynydd Isa in midweek as Harry Brown and a Ben Hughes penalty sealed a 2-0 win that moved them up to second place.

Isa still have nine games left this season, starting at home to Lex XI.

FC Queen’s Park, beaten by Isa in last weekend’s Mike Beech Memorial Trophy final, host Penyffordd while Greenfield go to Caerwys.

In the Reserves Division, if Caerwys fail to win at Penyffordd Lions, the title will go to Mynydd Isa.

FAW Reserves Tier 3 League fixtures: Brickfield v Llangollen; Flint Mountain v Llanrwst; Rhos Ael v Llay; Cefn Alb v Nantlle Vale; Hawarden v Conwy Boro; Llangefni v St Asaph.
