WREXHAM GLYNDWR’S men have maintained their position at the head of the standings.
The first team continues to lead the way at the top of North West Hockey League Division Five West (South) following a comfortable 4-1 success over Bebington Seconds.
Wrexham are only ahead on goal difference from Denbigh, who just edged out Chester Fourths 4-3.
Wrexham Glyndwr will head to Oxton Thirds this Saturday, while Northop Hall Seconds return to action at Bebington.
Northop Hall’s first team continued their Division Four West title push with a crucial 1-0 success at Mossley Hill.
Next up for Hall is a home clash with Eirias Seconds on Saturday.
There were mixed outcomes for the Wrexham Glyndwr and Northop Hall women’s sides in Division Two South action.
The Wrexham side got the better of Urmston 3-1, while Hall lost out 2-0 versus Oxton. This Saturday, Wrexham head to Macclesfield and Northop Hall are away to Urmston.
