CUP action primarily took centre stage for North East Wales Girls’ League clubs.

In the U15s’ League Cup, Maisie Sutcliffe’s brace ensured Acton U14s’ success over Brickfield Rangers, while Caitlin Gerrard, Megan Lily Parry and Tatiana Gorecka fired Northop Hall through 4-1 at the expense of Broughton United (Maisie Guy).

Airbus U14s got through 6-1 against Buckley Town, who replied through Ava Roberts. Faye Hand (3), Ellie Frizzell, Mollie Edge and Lady Dara Acquay struck for Airbus.

Brymbo Lodge beat Corwen 7-0 thanks to Bethan Williams (2), Talitha Prydden (2), Imogen Powell, Charlotte Olley-Madriaga and Malea Williams, while Summer Dakin scored four in Buckley U14s’ 8-0 outcome over Northop Hall Falcons. Georgia Payne (2) and Evie Hughes (2) added to the tally.

Juliet Collis netted five times as Northop Hall Jets U14s defeated battling Mynydd Isa U14s.

She was joined on the scoresheet by Lily Davies (2), Lily Manchester (2), Charlotte Lonergan, Elinor Glantz-Portman, Ellie McCormick and Hayley-Jo Vel.

Turning to the U13s’ League Cup and Ella Mitchell’s hat-trick saw Northop Hall win 3-2 win at Brymbo Lodge Bluebelles U12s, who replied through Lena Dabrowska and Jessica Lily Bull.

Amelie May Knight (2), Sienna Hall (2), Lili McKenzie and Sioned Jones made sure of Mynydd Isa’s 6-2 success over Coedpoeth United (Bella Parker, Mia Jones), while Brymbo Lodge U12s triumphed at battling Buckley Town.

Meanwhile, Iona McPhee (3), Amelia Boulton (2), Miley Butler, Sophie Hardstaff, Daisy Pickford and Macey Skane led Northop Hall U12s to a 9-0 win over determined Broughton United.

Hattie Orme, Azaria Prince, Lucia Walmsley and Jessica Spencer fired Saughall Panthers through 4-0 at the expense of Buckley Town U12s and Brickfield Rangers saw two goals apiece from Madison Lee and Tallulah Wynn in a 5-0 success at Ruthin.

Annabelle Griffiths got the other goal. Willow Powell (2) and Harriet Jones (2) led Brickfield Rangers U12s to a 4-1 win over Brickfield FC, who replied through Eva Chalk.

In the U13s’ league, Jessica Bowen scored five in Corwen’s victory versus Greenfield (Seren Brown 2, Keirah Gallagher).
