ASA HAMILTON has hailed the club’s supporters for their backing over the past month.

Buckley, who parted company with boss Jason Aldcroft last month, have won three of their last four matches heading into tonight’s Cymru North trip to Bangor 1876.

Chris Roberts, Marc Evans, Morgan Griffiths and Hamilton are those who have been placed in temporary charge at The Globe.

After last week’s 2-1 win at Llanuwchllyn in the Welsh Cup, Hamilton (pictured right) told the club’s Facebook page: “We’ve done our best to get it back to where we need to be.

“We’ve got it back to basics, just tried to get lads to enjoy football again and, number one, make sure we give 110 per cent for this club.

“Because that’s what it deserves and... if you look at our fans here today, we weren’t getting many fans when we were losing and that hurt us the most, to be fair.

“So, you look today, I think we probably had more fans here today than the home team.

“So that means the most to me, because I’m a Buckley lad. So, to see everybody here today cheering us on, at the corner when we were walking off there and the lads clapping the fans, that’s what it’s first and foremost about and when we do get back to playing on our home pitch... I’m looking forward to that first home game if I’m still in charge.”
