IT was a job well done for Wrexham who secured a comfortable 2-0 win against Gillingham to continue the fantastic run.

Phil Parkinson's men got off to the perfect start in the League Two clash when Ollie Palmer scored after just 57 seconds.

The match hung in the balance after that but the Reds were on top and comfortable, limiting the Gills to few chances of note in an entertaining encounter.

A second goal was still needed to kill the game off and it finally arrived in the 71st minute when Ben Tozer pounced to secure victory which extended the unbeaten run to 11 games and moved Wrexham up to second in the table.

ARTHUR OKONKWO: Dealt with everything thrown at him and clean sheet was never in doubt. Safe hands from the goalkeeper. 7

ANTHONY FORDE: Got forward to support attacks and also did his bit at the back. 7

BEN TOZER: All the Wrexham defenders were solid and Tozer weighed in with the second goal at the other end to kill the game off. 7

JACOB MENDY: Came in for James McClean and made some good runs down the left, supplying a brilliant cross for crucial second goal. 7

JAMES JONES: Wrexham gave a good account of themselves and Jones played his part. 7

GEORGE EVANS: The man of the match controlled the midfield all game. He mad egood use of the bal and had a big hand in the second goal. 8

ELLIOT LEE: Some moments of real quality but Wrexham have come to expect that from the playmaker. 7

SAM DALBY: Linked up well with Palmer in new-look strikeforce with Paul Mullin suspended. 7
