THERE was a party atmosphere as North Wales Crusaders marked a successful season.
Crusaders, who reached the grand final of the League 1 play-offs, marked a dramatic campaign with their end of season awards.
A player who made the comeback of the season won the prized supporters’ player of the year accolade during the evening, which was held at Ramada Plaza Wrexham.
Owain Abel picked up the award for a number of standout displays.
Expected to be out for the run-in through injury, Abel (pictured above) returned to the line-up for the closing couple of encounters in the play-offs.
A statement on the club’s Facebook page read: “Congratulations to all the winners, thank you to everyone who attended and everyone who organised an fantastic event.”
