WREXHAM beat Grimsby Town 3-0 at The STóK Cae Ras to extend the unbeaten run in League Two to seven games and climb up to fourth in the table.
Ollie Palmer and Will Boyle both found the net with first half headers to give Phil Parkinson's men a two-goal lead at the break.
Leading scorer Elliot Lee, with his seventh goal in eight league outings, secured a thoroughly deserved victory in the second half on an afternoon when the Reds put in a brilliant performance and could have won by more.
Wrexham, who had co-chairman Ryan Reynolds in attendance, are now three points behind leaders Gillingham heading into next Saturday's game at Stockport.
Parkinson made two changes from the side that started the 2-1 win against Doncaster Rovers the previous weekend.
James McClean, who missed the victory as he was away on international duty with Republic of Ireland, returned in the left wing-back position for Liam McAlinden.
There was also a place for star striker Paul Mullin who was included in the starting line-up for the first time since the 2023-24 campaign kicked off.
Mullin suffered a collapsed lung and four broken ribs during the club's pre-season tour of the USA and after making his comeback as a second half substitute against Doncaster, replaced Sam Dalby in the Reds' attack.
In another spot of good news, centre-back Aaron Hayden picked up a thigh injury that forced him off last Saturday but Parkinson revealed in the week it wasn't serious and the centre-back was passed fit to start.
Wrexham created the first chance after three minutes when Ryan Barnett went on a superb run that took the wing-back into the area past a couple of defenders but his shot was saved by goalkeeper Jake Eastwood.
Mullin saw a low drive gathered by Eastwood and Will Boyle headed over the bar from Ben Tozer's long throw-in as Wrexham continued to press.
Arthur Gnahoua's effort was comfortably saved by Mark Howard at the other end with Grimsby's first sight of goal but the Reds went upfield and took a 1-0 lead in the 21st minute.
McClean's corner was partially cleared, Luke Young fed Elliot Lee who put ball back into the danger-zone and Palmer scored with a powerful header.
Mullin went close to doubling Wrexham's lead as he fired wide after getting away from his marker but the second goal arrived in the 31st minute.
McClean whipped in a brilliant cross from the left and Boyle headed home his third goal of the season.
Wrexham kept going at Grimsby and a decent moved ended with Mullin's curling effort being parried by Eastwood while the frontman was presented with another opportunity just before the break but he fired into the side-netting.
Mullin went close again early in the second half following a superb move.
Tom O'Connor played the ball out to McClean who threaded an inch-perfect pass through to Mullin and the striker fired narrowly wide.
Wrexham kept probing and Eastwood pulled off a great save to deny substitute Dalby who was played in by Lee and Steven Fletcher, a replacement for Mullin, was unable to turn Luke Young's corner over the line.
However, Wrexham scored a third goal in the 79th minute.
Dalby fed Lee after Fletcher won his header and the playmaker fired past Eastwood.
Fletcher almost go in on the act with an overhead kick which was cleared off the line after Lee's cross from the by-line reached the striker, and Wrexham were good value for the victory.
