WHEN Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney took over Wrexham, it was always going to be entertaining, both on and off the pitch.

Off the pitch, the Reds have soared to new heights, gaining a worldwide following thanks to the docu-series Welcome to Wrexham.

There has been visits from Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd and Hugh Jackman to name a few, with the club embracing the Hollywood atmosphere.

But the entertainment hasn't just been off the pitch.

Wrexham’s 5-5 draw with Swindon Town on Saturday continued their remarkable trend for high-scoring games since their Hollywood takeover in 2021.

Wrexham 3-2 Notts County, April 2023.

A game that seemingly had it all.

The National League title on the line, in front of a packed out crowd at the Stok Cae Ras, it is a game that will live long in the memory.

Trailing 1-0 at the break, the Reds came firing out the traps in the second half with Paul Mullin and Jacob Mendy giving Wrexham the lead.

County soon equalised, before Elliot Lee fired home to re-take the lead.

Then that 96th-minute penalty save from Super Ben Foster sent the 10,000+ crowd into rapturous.

Coventry City 3-4 Wrexham, January 2023.

A trip to Championship Coventry in the FA Cup Third Round, not many gave the Reds a chance.

Goals from Sam Dalby, Elliot Lee, Tom O'Connor and Paul Mullin gave the travelling Red Army plenty to cheer about as they went 4-1 up midway through the second half.

With the hosts trailing by three goals and down to ten men, it looked certain that Phil Parkinson's side would be in the hat for the next round, but two late goals from the Sky Blues made it a very tense finish at the Ricoh.

Wrexham 7-5 Barnet, October 2022.

A 12-goal thriller at the Stok Cae Ras, saw the lead change back and forth on a number of occasions.

Goals from Aaron Hayden (2), Paul Mullin (2), Tom O'Connor, Luke Young and Ollie Palmer were enough to get the Reds over the line on a crazy afternoon.

Wrexham 4-5 Grimsby Town, May, 2022.

A heartbreaking afternoon at the Racecourse.

After missing out on the title to Stockport and losing to Bromley at Wembley, all hopes rested on the play-offs for Wrexham.

It was a rollercoaster of a game with the lead chopping and changing throughout. Every time one team scored, they seemed to get pegged back immediately.

With the game looking set for penalties, former Reds defender Luke Waterfall broke Wrexham hearts late in extra time.

The Leader: Wrexham v Dover

Wrexham 6-5 Dover Athletic, March 2022.

With Wrexham in the middle of a title race and Dover cemented to the bottom of the table, the result seemed a formality before kick-off.

A Reds win was almost guaranteed after going two goals up inside 20 minutes thanks to Paul Mullin and James Jones.

However, just after the hour mark Wrexham found themselves 5-2 down, with the Racecourse crowd in disbelief.

An Ollie Palmer double reduced the deficit to just one goal, but heading into stoppage time it looked like the Reds would be dropping crucial points.

Step forward, Jordan Davies, the local lad rescued the Reds with two goals in added time to seal a remarkable comeback win for Parkinson's side.
