WREXHAM'S full American tour schedule has been confirmed.
Phil Parkinson's side clinched the National League title in style last term and will prepare for a first campaign in the Football League since 2008 by playing four friendlies during the pre-season trip to the States.
The tour includes two stops on the East Coast, in North Carolina and Philadelphia, and two on the West Coast in Los Angeles and San Diego.
Wrexham's first game is against Premier League giants Chelsea at Kenan Stadium, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, on Wednesday July 19. The match is preceded by an open training session at Wakemed Soccer Park, where Wrexham Red Dragons took part in the recent $1m winner-takes-all seven-a-side tournament.
The Reds then head across to the West Coast where they will face LA Galaxy II on Saturday July 22 at Dignity Health Sports Park, Los Angeles, California.
Parkinson''s men will next take on a youth-drawn Manchester United side at San Diego’s Snapdragon Stadium on Tuesday July 25 and the tour finishes back on the East coast with the newly-confirmed clash against Philadelphia Union II at Subaru Park on Friday July 28.
Ahead of the tour of America, where Wrexham's popularity has soared since Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney completed their high-profile takeover at The Racecourse in February 2021, the Reds will discover their opponents on the opening day of the League Two season.
The fixtures are released next Thursday and Wrexham, who enjoyed a record-breaking 2022-23 campaign on route to clinching automatic promotion, begin life back in the fourth tier on Saturday August 5.
