TWO Wrexham AFC legends have been reunited ahead of 7-a-side competition in America.
Andy Morrell and Lee Trundle formed a superb strike partnership during their time together at the Racecourse and the pair will link up for the Reds once again in June.
They are part of the Wrexham team competing in 'The Soccer Tournament' in North Carolina this week.
There is a prize of $1 million for the winners of the inaugural competition, which takes place from June 1 to June 4.
Morrell, who had a stellar career for the Reds and then went on to manage at the Racecourse was part of the promotion-winning side in 2002/03 season under Denis Smith.
He and former Swansea star Trundle fired Wrexham to success that season, and 20 years later, the Reds managed to repeat the trick.

Morrell shared an image on his social media of him and Trundle saying: "Here we go! Partner in crime back together!"
It will certainly bring back some good memories of a number of Wrexham fans, who will hopefully manage to catch a glimpse of the Reds team in North Carolina this week.
Also representing the Wrexham Red Dragons in the winner-takes-all $1 million seven-a-side tournament at Wakemed Soccer Park will be Paul Rutherford and Mark Carrington – who each made more than 200 appearances for the Club up to 2021.
Tricky midfielder Dan Jarvis and player-manager David Jones complete the list of former players, while two current Wrexham AFC stars will also be making the trip in goalkeeper Mark Howard and defender Scott Butler.
Guest players George Boyd and Liam Grimshaw complete the line-up, with space for three further players to be added to the squad before the registration deadline.
Wrexham Red Dragons will take on Cesc Fabregas’ Como 1907 in their opening game, before matches against the US Women and Say Word FC.
Co-chairman Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds have also been rumoured to pull on the shirt.
