WREXHAM have hit the headlines after announcing a clash against Manchester United during the club's first ever trip to America but the high-profile friendly couldn't be further from Phil Parkinson's mind.
As part of preparations for the 2023-34 campaign, Wrexham will embark on a tour to the United States and face a youth-focused United side at Snapdragon Stadium, San Diego, on Tuesday, July 25.
The Reds will be hoping to be back in the Football League by the time they face the Old Trafford outfit and Parkinson is fully focussed on the automatic promotion challenge.
Wrexham are battling it out with Notts County for the National League title and have seven games remaining, starting with Saturday's showdown against Oldham Athletic at The Racecourse which gets the Reds' manager's undivided attention.
"The pre-season trip is an exciting one and when the time comes, it will be great for the club," said Parkinson, who saw Wrexham beat York City 3-0 on Saturday in front of co-chairmen Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney to maintain the promotion push.
"But our focus is on this week's training and the Oldham game at the weekend.
"Saturday's win against York was good for us in terms of another win on the way to where we need to get to but no more than that.
"We are pleased and the owners coming over always adds to the occasion and the atmosphere.
"But concentration levels are now firmly on what we need to do this week,
"We need a good week on the training pitch to concentrate on what we did well against York but improve in areas we can get better at.
"We will look at Oldham and look at everything that we can to get the detail right going into what is another important game.
"I am looking forward to having another great atmosphere at The Racecourse."
