WREXHAM AFC are on course to break a host of National League records this season.
The Reds have been in fine form throughout the campaign, with fans thinking, hoping, and praying that this is the year they end their stay in the fifth tier.
They have come close to a Football League return on a few occasions, but there is a different feel at the Racecourse this time around.
Phil Parkinson's side are locked in a race for the title alongside Notts County, with both sides seemingly unrelenting in their quest for promotion.
The pair are both on unbeaten runs stretching back to October and September, with both becoming masters at picking up three points.

Wrexham know that they could have a three-point lead at the top if they were to win their games in hand and while promotion is all anyone involved with the club wants, they are on course to break a number of league records.
Following their 3-1 win over Wealdstone on Saturday, Wrexham are projected to achieve 115 points this season, which would smash the current record of 105 set by Crawley in 2010/11.
Further records that could be broken:
- Longest winning run - The Reds are currently on an eight-game winning run, since their 1-1 draw at York in December. The record is 12, which is shared by Burton Albion and Mansfield Town.
- Most wins in a season - Phil Parkinson's side have won 22 out of their 29 games so far this campaign. If they win 10 of their last 17 then they will break the record of 31 wins.
- Fewest defeats in a season - Wrexham have lost two so far, the record is three.
- Most goals scored in a season - The record currently sits at 103, held by Barnet and Hereford. The Reds have scored 75 in 29 so far this season and would need 29 in 17 games to break it.
- Highest goal difference - Luton Town hold the record at 67. Wrexham currently have a +50 GD.
It is worth noting that title rivals Notts County could also break a number of the same records, but the records won't mean a thing to either side if promotion isn't secured.
