PHIL PARKINSON says his side will be ready to pick themselves up against Barnet at The Racecourse tomorrow and start another unbeaten run.
Wrexham made the trip to Notts County for Tuesday's top of the table clash without a defeat in eight games but the Magpies won 1-0 following an end to end encounter to take over as National League leaders.
It was only a second loss in 12 outings this season and the second placed Reds are only one point off the summit.
After two away matches in four days, Parkinson is relishing being back at home - Wrexham boast a 100 per cent record at their north Wales stadium - and he is looking to get the defeat out of the system.
"We have had two games on our travels and teams around us have had two games at home so we will be ready for the weekend," said Parkinson.
"We had the postponed game at home over the last couple of weeks, there is a slight inbalance there so we look forward to addressing that.
"It is a long old season. It is early days at the moment, it always hurts to get beat and we can't hide away from that because we hate losing.
"I don't want to ever lose that as an individual myself or collectively as a club.
"We just have to take this one on the chin, it just wasn't to be but that is football; we will be ready for the weekend.
"Notts County are obviously delighted afterwards and they are top of the league now but we will be cool, calm and collected in our preparation for the Barnet game and we look forward to a great atmosphere."
When asked what the mood was like in the changing room following the final whistle at Meadow Lane, Parkinson replied: "Quiet, but you would expect that because these are big games and we have put a lot of effort in and come away with nothing.
"But it is all about picking ourselves up.
"We as staff will assess the game, have a good look at Barnet and we'll be ready to get ourselves off and running again at the weekend.
"It is going to be tough but every game is."
