STRIKER Dior Angus has left Wrexham and joined League Two side Harrogate Town on a free transfer.
The 28-year-old arrived at The Racecourse from Barrow in February 2021 and was one of the two players - Tyler French was the other - brought in while the club was under the ownership of the WST, that co-chairmen Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds agreed to underwrite if the change of ownership did not proceed.
Angus bagged six goals in the second half of the 2020-21 campaign as Wrexham just missed out on the National League play-offs and he made 17 appearances in all competitions for the Reds last season, scoring once in the 2-2 draw at Southend 12 months ago.
Not named in a matchday squad by Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson for the opening six games of the current season, Angus heads to Harrogate who are 18th in League Two.
Parkinson told the official club website: “Myself and the coaching staff would like to wish Dior all the best moving forward and thank him for his contribution while here at the club.”
