PHIL PARKINSON insists there is more to come from Wrexham once he integrates new signings in the Wrexham side.
The Reds, who kicked off a 15th season in non-league by coming from behind to beat Eastleigh 2-1 on the opening day, were held to a 1-1 draw by Yeovil Town in their second outing on Saturday.
Prolific striker Paul Mullin gave Wrexham a sixth minute lead with his first goal of the campaign but failure to score a second goal proved costly as Malachi Linton equalised with a stunning strike early in the second half.
Summer signings Elliot Lee - the two-goal hero as a substitute against Eastleigh - and Jacob Mendy made their first starts at Root Hall, joining fellow new recruits Mark Howard and Anthony Forde in the team, and Parkinson says the fresh faces will take time to bed in.
"It's a tough place to come and we just didn't link the play as well as I know we can," said Parkinson.
"It certainly wasn't a lack of effort or a lack or heart, at times we just didn't produce the moments that we know we can do.
"But we have got new players in the team who are finding their way a little bit, both physically and in terms of the cohesion with other players in the team.
"There's all the logistics of them looking for houses and moving up, and settling in with their team-mates.
"Teams evolve and get better as players play together, and I think you saw that today a little bit with Jacob and Elliot.
"They are finding their way and learning about their team-mates.
"We are in a better position than we were last year so we will just keep going.
"It is two games, we are unbeaten at the start of the season and we will go to Chesterfield on Tuesday looking to take us back to The Racecourse in good spirits."
