The Bluebirds claimed a thrilling 3-2 home success over Swansea City, ending the league leaders’ unbeaten record in the league this season.
Third-placed Cardiff moved to within seven points of top spot, while Cardiff Met remain four points behind Swansea and they now have a game in hand.
In the Adran Premier Plate, The New Saints were defeated 2-0 at Barry, while Pontypridd defeated hosts Port Talbot 3-0.
All of the Sunday matches in Adran North and the North Wales Women’s League were postponed.
One game went ahead in the Cymru Premier League with Newtown missing out on the chance to reclaim second spot as they were held to a goal-less draw at home by Cardiff Met.
It was a historic day at Latham Park in what was The Robins’ 1,000th game in the Welsh top flight.
