NORWICH CITY v SOUTHAMPTON
NICK HARRISON: Pukki or Ings? They are the potential two match-winners and with it being win or bust for Norwich, it’s a game The Canaries must not lose. 2-2
TOM NORRIS: The Canaries have nothing to lose, so expect more of an all-out attack attitude. Pukki is key to their survival hopes and he could be the man to help sink the Saints, who may not be quite up to speed. 2-1
DAN HEALD: Daniel Farke’s Canaries need a strong start to optimise their slim survival chances. I’ll back the hosts to edge this one against a Saints side who need just two more wins to ensure their own Premier League status. 2-1
TOTTENHAM v MANCHESTER UNITED
NH: Is there a player United haven’t been linked with during the coronavirus crisis? Rashford’s more than done his bit off the pitch but and he’ll be hungry for goals to silence his old boss. 1-2
TN: If this had been played when originally scheduled it would have been lacking so many stars. Instead, Spurs have Kane and Son back, while United have Pogba and Rashford fit. Could be a cracker with the Jose factor creating the usual intrigue. 2-2
DH: United had hit form just prior to the coronavirus-enforced break in the season. Mourinho will relish the chance to derail his former side and, with a fit-again Harry Kane, Spurs can re-ignite their own ailing top-four ambitions. 2-1
WATFORD v LEICESTER CITY
NH: Watford’s situation is just like that of Norwich. Winning at home is imperative but you get the feeling Foster rather than Deeney will be the key man. 1-2
TN: The Nigel Pearson derby is a fitting title for this encounter. The Foxes have moved on to bigger and better things since Pearson departed the King Power, but Watford have plenty to play for and are capable of impressive performances. 1-2
DH: Nigel Pearson’s another manager whose renewing hostilities against a former side. Deeney looks set to return for the hosts, but the canny Foxes have class throughout their squad and can dismantle the Hornets. 1-3
BRIGHTON v ARSENAL
NH: The Seagulls were very noisy in the early throes of the lockdown but their focus is on staying in the top flight but can’t see them winning this. 1-3
TN: It will be interesting to see how much chasing City around the Etihad takes out of the Gunners, who might be forced to rotate their starting XI. Could play into Brighton’s fresh hands. 1-1
DH: A lack of cutting edge in the final third has blighted Brighton’s season to date. I’d expect a one-goal margin to settle this one, with Aubameyang to grab a winner for the visitors. 1-2
WEST HAM v WOLVES
NH: The rest would have done Wolves good while The Hammers fans’ absence my be a blessing in disguise for Moyes’ boys. Reckon it will finish all-square. 2-2
TN: A West Ham match at the London Stadium lacking atmosphere isn’t hard to imagine. The Hammers’ survival hopes might be helped by the absence of fans, although Wolves crucial points of their own to play for. 1-2
DH: Nuno’s intensive training methods have been central to Wolves’ continual improvement. The lack of a matchday atmosphere will play into the visitors’ hands with Jota on target. 0-1
BOURNEMOUTH v CRYSTAL PALACE
NH: The poor old BBC. They get their first live Premier League games in yonks - and it’s this! And they’re up against Alan Carr’s Strike it Lucky on the other side. Draw written all over it. 1-1
TN: Feels like a game Bournemouth need to win if they are to spark their survival bid. Palace might choose to experiment with their campaign pretty much done. 1-0
DH: Not a fixture to set the pulse racing. Palace have proved hard to beat for most of the season and can resume their campaign with a dogged point here. 1-1
NEWCASTLE v SHEFFIELD UNITED
NH: Bruce is under pressure on all fronts and losing at home to The Blades won’t do his job prospects much good. It could be a goal from a set-piece that wins this dour struggle. 1-2
TN: Steve Bruce’s boys were able to collect a crucial three points at Bramall Lane, but the absence of the Toon Army could hit Newcastle more than most. They will be fresher than the Blades, who still might be sharper. 1-1
DH: Will the proposed Saudi-led takeover propel the Geordies to obscene wealth? Don’t expect Bruce to lead the Magpies’ revolution if so. The Blades to march on here in a comfortable win. 2-0
ASTON VILLA v CHELSEA
NH: Targetman Giroud gave Chelsea a new-found presence before the enforced break. He’ll relish the chance of going up against Villa’s back four but will Lampard start with him again? 2-3
TN: Villa have conceded the most goals in the division, and it’s hard to see how Dean Smith will have magically fixed that issue. With Chelsea bringing in two attacking talents at the end of the season, the current crop have points to prove. 1-3
DH: Finding some semblance of home form will be vital in the run-in. A refreshed Chelsea could expose their defensive frailties though, with Tammy Abraham netting in familiar territory. 0-2
EVERTON v LIVERPOOL
NH: Wonder how busy the streets will be around Goodison Park on Sunday evening? That pathetic performance in the FA Cup hurt Ancelotti and don’t expect Everton to lie down in a game they’ll be desperate to win. 1-1
TN: This derby will be hyped up even more than usual. The Toffees will be determined to make Liverpool wait a little longer for their first title in three decades - even if the trophy is heading to Anfield at some point. Will be fascinating to watch the Liverpool derby played out in-front of empty stands. 1-1
DH: Liverpool will be desperate to wrap up the title ASAP. Cynics will say that their first title-winning season in 30 years has been tainted by unprecedented disruption, but Reds fans won’t care. On reflection, Klopp’s side will be worthy winners when the inevitable happens, and a derby victory will kick-start their canter to a long-awaited prize. 0-2
MANCHESTER CITY v BURNLEY
NH: Time for City to experiment. Sterling as sole striker, Mahrez in from the start and De Bruyne handed the captaincy? 3-1
TN: Pep’s men will no doubt adapt better than most to the return of football given the possession they have during games. Burnley will work hard, but gaps could start to appear late on. 2-0
DH: Graft and organisation will be integral to Burnley’s game plan. But they’ll need defensive solidity and some luck on their side if they’re to contain City’s potent attacking options. 4-0
