PREMIER LEAGUE PREDICTIONS
LIVERPOOL v HUDDERSFIELD
NICK HARRISON: You’d like to see Huddersfield have a go but that may play into Liverpool’s hands. It’s a chance for Klopp to rest a few big names but even if he does that, they’ll win comfortably. 4-0
TOM NORRIS: If you’ve got to win your last three games to stand a chance of winning the title then a visit from Huddersfield is just the ticket. Klopp might rest some big guns, but it won’t matter. 4-0
DAN HEALD: Liverpool’s front three will all hope to play a part against a brow-beaten Huddersfield side. Expect a dominant attacking display with Klopp looking to get the damage done early before subbing his big-hitters. 3-0
TOTTENHAM v WEST HAM
NH: Brighton defended well at Spurs on Tuesday but can’t see The Hammers doing the same. Tottenham could do with being a bit more direct instead of trying all the tippy-tappy stuff. 3-1
TN: Spurs are enjoying life at their new home and, given the Hammers run of form, it’s unlikely that they will slip up this weekend. Son, Eriksen and Alli are crucial to the hosts. 2-0
DH: No Kane, no problem for Spurs who have three or four match-winners in their side. West Ham are maddeningly unpredictable, but could run the hosts close here. 2-1
CRYSTAL PALACE v EVERTON
NH: Everton’s last trip to London proved to be a nightmare but confidence will be sky high after brushing aside United. Palace will also be buzzing after that brilliant win at Arsenal. 2-2
TN: Everton are starting to hit top gear as the end of season approaches, while Palace are enjoying life now the pressure of relegation has been lifted. 2-2
DH: Two sides buoyed by impressive wins last weekend should mean both are full of confidence. The shackles should be off in an open, expansive affair. 2-2
FULHAM v CARDIFF CITY
NH: Cardiff must win at Craven Cottage and the wise old Warnock has to find a more attacking formation to break through what has been a flimsy Fulham defence this season. 1-2
TN: Fulham are thriving now their return to the Championship is confirmed and they will prove a nuisance for Warnock’s Bluebirds, who are still scrapping. 1-2
DH: A huge game for Warnock’s Cardiff who must go for broke here. Fulham’s successive clean-sheet victories are testament to Scott Parker’s influence at the club and the hosts can thwart the Bluebirds’ great escape act. 1-1
SOUTHAMPTON v BOURNEMOUTH
NH: The Saints are safe while despite playing Brighton off the park in their last south coast derby, Bournemouth are too hit and miss to grab all three points. 1-1
TN: How the Cherries would love to beat their rivals and turn up the pressure on the Saints, who are looking over their shoulders. Home advantage will help with Redmond on top form. 2-1
DH: It’s feast or famine with Bournemouth, who’ve been far too erratic this season. Southampton, conversely, look more polished and effective under Hasenhuttl. 2-1
WATFORD v WOLVES
NH: Two teams who are struggling from that FA Cup semi-final a few weeks ago. Watford are thinking all about the final against City while Wolves eventually put their disappointment behind them by thumping Arsenal. 1-1
TN: Wolves will want revenge for their FA Cup exit to the Hornets as they look to finish a promising season strongly. Seventh place is up for grabs and bothteams will fancy taking it. 1-2
DH: Will Jimenez pack the wrestling mask in his kit-bag again after his Wembley antics? Who knows. Wolves were superb against Arsenal in midweek though, and I’ll back Nuno’s men to exact revenge for their FA Cup heartache. 1-2
BRIGHTON v NEWCASTLE
NH: Brighton probably don’t deserve to stay up on their recent form and just like Cardiff’s game at Fulham, this is one The Seagulls can’t afford to lose. I think they will though. 0-2
TN: Will Brighton ever score again? Hughton can be forgiven for shutting up shop at Spurs - even if it proved pointless. The Toon Army are looking up, but it’s hard to see a glut of goals. 0-0
DH: Not a fixture to set the pulse racing, but Brighton’s poor form adds a bit of intrigue to their run-in. Hughton’s side will be set up to nick a win, but expect the Geordies to have their say with their top-flight status secured. 1-1
LEICESTER v ARSENAL
NH: Leicester are playing well while Arsenal will have Thursday’s Europa League semi-final on their minds. Vardy’s got a great record against The Gunners and that will continue. 2-1
TN: This kicks off what promises to be an entertaining Sunday. Both teams would much rather attack than defend, so expect plenty of chances at either end. Vardy loves a game against the big six. 2-2
DH: Unai Emery’s a Europa League specialist and you’d imagine Arsenal’s European commitments will influence his team selection. The Foxes are a swift counter-attacking side and can exploit Arsenal’s frailties. 2-1
BURNLEY v MANCHESTER CITY
NH: Some City fans think this will be easy but Burnley are in a great run of form and if Barnes bullies what can sometimes be a dodgy Blues backline, The Clarets could spring a surprise. 2-3
TN: This one looks tougher for City now than it might have done six weeks ago, but Pep has his team well-drilled and a couple of early goals should wrap up another three points. 1-2
DH: Can Burnley throw a spanner in the works of City’s title charge? Many neutrals will hope so, but Guardiola’s side are class and can dismantle even the most stubborn of 10-man defences. 0-2
MANCHESTER UNITED v CHELSEA
NH: Battle of the fading champions to finish off the weekend. Hazard has the chance to show Chelsea fans what they’ll be missing next season. 1-2
TN: A huge game in the race for fourth place. Both have been strangely inconsistent throughout the campaign and a win will do wonders for the respective managers. Home advantage sways it in United’s favour. 1-0
DH: United look in disarray, which Chelsea have too for much of the season. Of the two sides, Chelsea are in the box seat for top-four qualification and a point here will edge them even nearer to Champions League qualification. 1-1
SCORES SO FAR: Dan Heald 263; Nick Harrison 245; Tom Norris 245.
