A WALES star born and raised in Wrexham has reacted to scoring his latest goal for his country.
22-year-old Neco Williams is from Cefn Mawr and is a former pupil of Ysgol Rhiwabon.
Having previously played for Liverpool, the full-back now plays for fellow Premier League side Nottingham Forest.
As well as that, the full-back has become a vital part of the Wales national team, even playing in the nation's first World Cup since 1958 when he donned the red shirt at Qatar 2022 last December.
Williams' form for his country has caught the eye on several occasions and the EURO 2024 qualifier v Turkey on Tuesday night (November 21) was no different.

In a separate post on X, the Forest star made his feelings known about the officiating in the match.
Wales felt they were denied a stonewall penalty by referee Matej Jug when Brennan Johnson was bundled over in the box.
Turkey then received a seemingly soft penalty themselves when Wales captain Ben Davies was deemed to have committed a foul in the box.
Venting his frustrations, Williams wrote: "No better feeling But let down by some decisions."
Wales' draw, along with a 1-0 win for Croatia over Armenia, means they will now have to go through a play-off system to qualify for Euro 2024 which will be held in Germany next summer.
They will first face Finland at home in a semi-final and, should they win that, will then take on Poland or Estonia for a place at the tournament.
Williams has so far earned 36 caps for Wales, scoring on three occasions.
