Former I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! camp mate Vernon Kay has highlighted who he thinks will do well in this year’s series.

The hit ITV show returns this weekend when a fresh batch of celebrities will set up camp at the historic Gwrych Castle in North Wales.

Frankie Bridge, David Ginola and Richard Madeley are among the celebs competing to be King or Queen of the castle.

And it’s Good Morning Britain presenter Richard Madeley who Vernon Kay has tipped to go all the way on this year’s show.

Speaking on Friday’s instalment of GMB, Vernon said: "I can't wait to see Richard, I'll be honest with you, I think he's going to talk everyone to death.

"I think he may frustrate a few people but he's extremely intelligent and he's a great listener.

"And that's what you need in there because you get really tired and you open up and get really emotional because you miss your friends and family."

The series will return this Sunday on ITV from 9pm.
