A POLICE dog helped to detain a burglar amid a search involving armed officers and drones.
Cheshire and North Wales Police Dogs Unit said canine Guinness is "feeling very pleased with himself" following the incident on Sunday night.
The Dutch shepherd sniffed out the suspect who had hidden in undergrowth to hide from officers.
A post on the unit's Facebook page said: "Awesome teamwork last night with our Interceptors, Drone team, Armed Alliance and PD 2101 Guinness who is feeling very pleased with himself after detaining a male wanted for a burglary who thought it was clever to hide in undergrowth then evade capture from the Jaws of Law."
