Wrexham fans are being urged to pay tribute to one of their own who has died.

Paul Prydderch died suddenly at his home in Rhosddu last week – aged 60.

Paul, known as “Toast”, was described by his daughter as an 'amazing guy' who was 'loved by so many'.

Wrexham band Declan Swans hailed him as a 'huge character'.

Fans of Toast's beloved Wrexham AFC are being urged to pay tribute to him at today's match (October 17).

Reds fans are being invited to join in with a minute's applause for him during the 60th minute of the home match against Preston North End (3pm ko).

A plea from the family read: "Hi everyone, as a lot of people will have seen/ heard- Paul Prydderch, affectionately known as Toast sadly passed away last week at the age of just 60.

"We would love nothing more as a family, than to pay tribute to his memory with an applause on the 60th minute vs. Preston. Up the town!"
