A 27-year-old persistent shoplifter has been banned from entering all Co-op stores in Wrexham.
Ryan Loose, of Pentre Gwyn, Wrexham, appeared at Wrexham Magistrates Court yesterday (Monday, December 2) where he admitted three counts of shoplifting, North Wales Police said.
On July 11, Loose went into Brookland service station on Holt Road and filled a basket with over £60 worth of items before leaving the shop without any attempt to pay.
Two days later, he went into the Co-op on Poplar Road and stole £53 worth of items.
On September 28, he stole chocolate worth almost £20 from the Co-op on Prince Charles Road.

The court banned him from entering any Co-op store in Wrexham for the next year and ordered him to repay each store the value of the stolen items.
He was also handed a community order, with requirements not to drink alcohol and rehabilitation activity.
Wrexham City Sergeant Sarah Hughes-Jones said: “This is another positive outcome as part of Operation Blizzard that will result in our city centre retailers being protected from another prolific shoplifter.
“Our work with local businesses and partner organisations across the city is ongoing to crack down on retail crime in the run up to Christmas and protect them from shoplifting incidents.
“We will continue to support retailers and robustly deal with offenders by bringing them before the courts.”
