A FLINTSHIRE town has been hit by a power cut this evening (Monday, December 2).
Scottish Power has said that there is an outage affecting the Flint area.
Numerous postcodes in the town are affected, and Scottish Power has said it hopes to have power restored later this evening.
A Scottish Power spokesperson said: "There is a power cut in the CH6 postcode area of Flint. We will attempt to reset the network remotely to restore power in stages, and our emergency response team are on their way to the area to investigate the cause of the fault.
"We are aiming to have your power restored by 02/12/2024, 9.50pm. We are sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience."
