PLANS for a Traveller family site in Flintshire have been submitted after the council opened an enforcement case.
The Leader reported last month on an "unauthorised development" off Mancot Lane in Mancot.
Flintshire Council said it had a planning enforcement case after the work started without planning permission.
The council's planning policies does allow for retrospective applications to be submitted after work on the development has taken place. Nevertheless, the council said applicants do so at their own risk.

And now, an application has been submitted to the council for a four-pitch family Gypsy and Traveller site with access from Mancot Lane.
The application, part submitted in retrospect, is also requesting permission for the formation of a permeable surface, erection of four day rooms, boundary fencing and landscaping.
Flintshire Council has set a target date of January 23, 2025 to make a decision on the application.
