A STRETCH of the A494 in Deeside is closing overnight this week.
National Highways North West has said that the eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between Deeside Industrial Park Interchange and the Dunkirk roundabout from Tuesday (December 3) until Friday (December 6).
The closure will be in effect from 8pm until 6am each night to help minimise disruption.
National Highways said the closure is for allow environmental sensor station (ESS) replacement works to take place.
An ESS is an advanced form of a weather station that continually reports road surface temperature, visibility, wind speeds and more to National Highways.
The diversion route will be signposted and will be via A550 Welsh Road, A540 Parkgate Road southbound and A5117 eastbound. Drivers will then take the second exit at Dunkirk roundabout onto the M56 eastbound slip road, before rejoining the carriageway.
