WREXHAM'S Victorian Christmas Markets went down a treat once again as hundreds got into the festive spirit over the weekend.
Coinciding with the grand relaunch of the General and Butchers Markets, the return of the popular Christmas Markets proved a hit in the city centre.
The markets ran from November 28 until Sunday, December 1, with a host of stalls, activities, live music and entertainment on offer across High Street, Church Street and St Giles Church.
There were charming stalls offering handmade crafts and bespoke gifts, in addition to delicious seasonal treats such as hot crepes, pies and chocolates, as well as beautifully crafted wreaths and decorations.
In addition to the markets, there was also a family fair at Queen's Square featuring traditional rides, attractions and games for all ages.
