AS part of a festive community initiative, a special postbox from the North Pole has returned to Rhos for those wishing to write to Santa.

From November 29 until December 12, residents of Rhos, Wrexham, are invited to write to Santa.

The postbox has returned to the Spar at Market Street courtesy of Ponciau Councillor and owner of P&G Motors Paul Pemberton who is hoping to spread a little Christmas magic in the community.

After starting as a goodwill gesture during Covid, it has become an annual season tradition which children and parents thoroughly enjoy.

All you need to do is write a letter to Santa and enclose the envelope with your full name and address on it. Two elves from the Rhos Community Council office will then collect the letters and post them directly to Santa. If you're lucky, you might even get a reply before the big day from 'Santa or one of his elves.'

Paul said: "Since Covid with the help from the community council clerk and deputy, we want to spread a little cheer.

"It's a real postbox which we have decorated and made to look Christmasy. Last year we almost reached 100 letters so hopefully we'll get even more this year. We'll aim to answer every letter before the big day!

"I'd also like to thank the staff at the Spar supermarket in Rhos for their valued and continued support."

While there is no age limit, Paul is asking parents to encourage their little ones to get involved and continue believing.

So, have you been naughty or nice? Write to Santa and find out!
