A MAIN road in Flintshire has reopened after being closed following a landslide.
Earlier this week, the A5104 Corwen Road between Pontblyddyn and Pontybodkin was closed amid a landslip in the Nant Brook.
Trees were blocking the road as a result of the landslide, with the council conducting inspections amid ongoing clearance works.
Flintshire Council's chief officer for Streetscene and Transportation, Katie Wilby said: “We have closed the A5104 Corwen Road between Pontblyddyn and Pontybodkin due to a landslide that has resulted in trees blocking the road.

"Inspections have been undertaken with clearance works programmed to take place this week.
"Subject to satisfactory assessments that it is safe to do so, we will aim to reopen the road as soon as this work is completed.”
Now Flintshire County Council have confirmed that the road reopened on Thursday (November 28), with temporary traffic signals in place until the work has been completed.
A spokesperson for Flintshire County Council said: "The road was reopened yesterday afternoon (28.11.24), and temporary traffic signals will now be in place until all of the remedial works can be completed.
