WREXHAM Council has confirmed there will be fewer green bin collections over the upcoming winter months.
A reminder has been issued for residents who are signed up to the garden waste collection service that collections will be reduced during the winter period of December, January and February.
Residents who are signed up to the garden waste collection service will still get at least one garden waste collection in each month from December-February.

Reducing the collections during these months frees up staff to help the council deal with any issues caused by the cold weather, such as gritting routes or general maintenance. The usual fortnightly collections will then resume in March, when demand increases, ready for the spring season.
Residents who are signed up to the garden waste collection service are also reminded that the current garden waste collection has been extended to run until February 28, 2025.
The council also asks you to remember that the three household recycling centres have garden waste skips should you need to use them.
