FLINTSHIRE Council has issued an update on the closure of a main road due a landslide.
Earlier this week, the A5104 Corwen Road between Pontblyddyn and Pontybodkin was closed amid a landslide in the Nant Brook.
The road remains closed due to trees blocking the road as a result of the landslide.
However, the council has said inspections have taken place with clearance works taking place this week.

Flintshire Council's chief officer for Streetscene and Transportation, Katie Wilby said: “We have closed the A5104 Corwen Road between Pontblyddyn and Pontybodkin due to a landslide that has resulted in trees blocking the road.
"Inspections have been undertaken with clearance works programmed to take place this week.
"Subject to satisfactory assessments that it is safe to do so, we will aim to reopen the road as soon as this work is completed.”
Leeswood councillor, Ray Hughes, posted on Facebook saying it is hoped the road will be reopened by the weekend.
