HUNDREDS of people turned out to enjoy the Christmas lights switch on in one Flintshire community.
The community of Bagillt turned out in numbers to enjoy the Christmas Lights switch on and Christmas markets on Monday (November 25).
It was the second successful event, with the inaugural switch on taking place last year, organised by the Bagillt Action Group.
There were a host of stalls on offer for all to enjoy, as well as live entertainment before the big switch on, which was conducted by Rev. Kathryn Evans and pupils from Ysgol Merllyn.
There was a huge turn out for the event, with organisers delighted at the community spirit shown.
Cllr Bryn Gittins said: "An excellent day and evening, a variety of stalls for lots of Christmas shopping and a great turn out, bringing the community together.
