CARS parked in a popular area for Wrexham AFC fans were broken into during last night's match.
Four cars parked on Stansty Road were targeted by suspected smash-and-grab thieves.
The incidents occurred during Wrexham AFC's win over Lincoln City on Tuesday night - and involved vehicles parked by fans attending the game.
It's not the first time cars parked along there have been targeted by thieves on match days, with police issuing an appeal for information when cars were broken into on Stansty Road last year. Those incidents also happened during a night match.
John Lewis was among the people whose cars were targeted - with his passenger window smashed.

He said: "One other guy, who had a significant piece of property stolen, and I waited for the police as I had reported it.
"My partner had to drive from 20 minutes away to pick my two little boys up as the car was full of glass. My youngest was a little shaken. The police responded immediately. I can't fault them at all. They did say it has happened there before.
"I think the council could maybe consider putting up a sign to warn anyone parking there. It's not the end of the world, but it's very inconvenient at best."
Anyone with information relating to the incident is urged to contact North Wales Police quoting reference Q178411.
