WITH the festive season upon us, there are plenty of events at William Aston Hall and Theatr Clwyd to get you in the spirit this December.

Here are the dates for your diary:

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (December 5-7)

The community theatre group Tip Top Productions is kicking the season off with their magical production.

Under the direction of Peter Swingler, recognised for his expertise in pantomime, the production promises to deliver not only the classic story but also plenty of laughter, chaos, and opportunities for audience participation.

With shimmering special effects and a talented cast bringing the characters to life, audiences can expect to be transported into a world of fantasy and fun.

Peter Pan The Panto (13-15 Dec)

The Delta Academy of Dance and Performing Arts bring Peter Pan to Wrexham this December. Peter Pan spends his never-ending childhood having adventures in “Neverland”, a mysterious, mythical, tropical island, as the leader of the Lost Boys, interacting with fairies, pirates, mermaids and more.

The Nutcracker (8 Dec)

Wrexham Symphony Orchestra presents Tchaikovsky’s glittering classic which transports you from Clara’s cosy house to the magical Kingdom of the Sugar Plum Fairy. Tutus, tiaras and swords at the ready for a warming WSO Christmas adventure, conducted by Bedwyn Phillips.

Welsh of the West End (17 Dec)

Following sold out events, Welsh of the West End returns for a festive concert. With over 20 million views, Welsh of the West End have become an online viral sensation.

Join them in Wrexham for Christmas classics and musical theatre favourites, prepare to be dazzled by performers from shows such as Les Misérables, Phantom of the Opera and Wicked.

Carols for Christmas (22 Dec)

The BBC National Orchestra for Wales presents this musical number. Join BBC National Chorus of Wales’ Artistic Director, conductor Adrian Partington, alongside a massed choir from across North Wales for this glittering, annual Christmas festivity - the perfect Sunday afternoon treat for all the family.

Rock ‘n’ Roll panto Mother Goose (23 Nov-19 Jan)

Over at Theatr Clwyd the festive fun continues in their legendary panto. Taking place in the re-developed main theatre, expect the biggest rock, pop and soul songs, outrageous costumes, fantastic frocks, hilarious one-liners, water pistols galore and, of course, your favourite panto puppets.
