Actor and entertainer John Barrowman MBE is set to perform in Wrexham as part of his UK tour.

The star of stage and screen will take to the stage at Aston Hall on February 28, 2025.

The show, titled 'Laid Bare', promises to be a unique blend of music and storytelling, offering fans an intimate glimpse into Mr Barrowman's life and career.

Mr Barrowman said: "I’m really excited about my new show.

"I can’t wait to get on the road and perform for my fan family and all the new faces around the country who will get to know me better as I get back to my roots, celebrate my journey and tell my stories as I am 'Laid Bare' for everyone to enjoy."

Fans can expect to hear some of Mr Barrowman's favourite songs from his career in musical theatre, as well as anecdotes and memories.

The show will also feature tracks from his latest album, Centre Stage, recorded with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

RED Entertainment's Matt Brinkler said: "John is one of the most exciting entertainers to watch live and the team at RED are excited to be promoting his new tour.

"As the title – Laid Bare – suggests, this is a stripped-back, up close and personal production and unlike anything he’s done before.

"Not only is John an incredible singer with a huge range, he’s also a natural raconteur and I think audiences are going to love the chance to get to know the real John Barrowman."

Mr Barrowman has a long list of theatre credits including Sunset Boulevard, Phantom of the Opera, and Miss Saigon.

He is also known for his roles in Doctor Who, Torchwood, and Arrow.

His career also includes ten best-selling solo albums, a Sunday Times best-selling autobiography, and several co-written action/adventure books.

He was awarded an MBE in 2014 for services to charity and entertainment.
