People have named their favourite small businesses in Wrexham and Flintshire for Christmas shopping.

We asked for shoutouts for the best independent shops and services in the area.

Bliss Lingerie Ltd in Mold was one of the most mentioned.

Wendy Anderton said: "This is such a great shop to visit, the staff are friendly and helpful.

"Judith and her staff will always go the extra mile to help.

"They do a weekly live that can be watched on Facebook, you can order then go and collect your orders are a time that's convenient to you.

"Gift wrapping is also available which helps with Christmas preparations.

"I highly recommend this shop."

Tina Langford agreed, and said: "Bliss Lingerie Ltd, love their weekly live."

Jodie Louise recommended JL Cleaning Solutions, which has started offering gift vouchers for their cleaning services.

Laura's Little Siop Lyfrau (Bookshop) was also mentioned.

The shop has a partnership with Usborne, and offers books and jigsaws, suitable for ages 0-14.

Laura Natalie Rowlands said the shop offers 'lots of gorgeous Christmas books and many non-Christmas ones too'.

Charlene Brown said: "Nexus Creative Spaces have so many different small businesses in with all their wonderful gifts for christmas, well worth a trip"

Nicola Morgan recommended the Festive Flintshire Homegrown Highstreet Artisan Market in Buckley.

Groundwork North Wales commented: "We can't wait for these wonderful small businesses to attend our Christmas Market on 30th December at Alyn Waters.
