A MAN has been disqualified from driving after being caught by police doing over 100mph in Wrexham.
North Wales Police's Wrexham Rural team confirmed that a 48-year-old man was banned from driving for two months and was hit with fines and costs of over £1,100.
The motorist appeared in court on Friday (November 22) after being caught by police conducting speed checks doing 110mph on the Llan Y Pwll link road in Wrexham.

A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "Back in April we posted about officers conducting speed checks in the Wrexham Rural areas.
"A 48 year old man from Wrexham has received a 2 month driving disqualification and over £1100 in fines and costs after appearing at court on Friday 22nd November.
"This relates to a speeding offence on the Llan-Y-Pwll Link Road in April this year.
"Officers were conducting speed checks when they sighted a vehicle traveling at 110 MPH in a national speed limit zone."
