THE WAIT goes on for an adorable Cane Corso to find his forever home - having spent more than a year at a Flintshire animal rescue centre by now.
Skylor’s Animal Rescue, at Dobshill, is a small but passionate foster-based dog rescue in Dobshill that is run by a family.
The charity rescues dogs who are unwanted and abandoned, as well as pets who can no longer stay with their family, or in other certain circumstances such as ex racing greyhounds etc.
One of those within the rescue who is currently looking for his forever home is the adorable Nigel, who has been with Skylor's since October 16, 2023.
The Cane Corso has been with Skylor's Animal Rescue for over 470 days, since he was six months old.
Skylor's are hoping to find Nigel a forever home ahead of him potentially spending a second Christmas at the centre.
He was originally dumped by his owner to then be taken into the pound and then faced being put to sleep.
He needs someone strong who is willing to work with his fears and someone who can teach him how to live in a home environment and learn new skills while and about.
Skylor's say that Nigel 'learns fast and will make someone an amazing companion'.
